CanMas
CanMas is the Masters racing portion of the Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships, held each year at the conclusion of Nationals. It brings together Masters athletes – aged 25 and up – from across the country for a great day of racing and a weekend of fun.
Open to paddlers of all skill levels, CanMas celebrates lifelong participation in canoe kayak. Whether you’re a former high-performance athlete, a club coach, or someone who discovered paddling later in life, CanMas offers a fun, inclusive, and competitive atmosphere.
Athletes compete in age group categories across a range of sprint distances, with races in both canoe and kayak disciplines. Beyond the racing, CanMas is about reconnecting with friends, cheering on your club, and being part of the broader Canadian paddling community. CanMas wraps up the Nationals week with high energy and the kind of sportsmanship and camaraderie that make it a highlight of the season.
