The 2025 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships are returning to Regina for the fifth time, bringing up to 1,000 of the country’s top athletes to the Queen City for a full week of thrilling competition.
This national event features club-based racing, meaning you’ll see the next generation of Olympians competing alongside current members of Canada’s national and Olympic teams—representing the clubs where their paddling journeys began.
Media Access
Media accreditation is not required to cover the event. Canoe Kayak Canada will provide a livestream of the races, but there are no exclusive broadcast rights. Media outlets are welcome to film for the purposes of news coverage.
Interview Opportunities
Interviews can be arranged in advance of and during the event. While athlete availability during competition days will depend on race schedules, we’ll do our best to accommodate all requests.
Photojournalists
Photographers are welcome in all public spectator areas, including Pine Island. With advance notice, we may be able to arrange water-level access to help you capture close-up action shots. Access to the Athletes’ Village is restricted and requires prior approval.
More detailed media information will be posted as the event approaches. In the meantime, feel free to reach out with any questions or requests.
