Welcome to Ottawa for the 2026 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships!
The Rideau Canoe Club is proud to host this prestigious event at Mooney’s Bay, bringing together over 1,200 athletes from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
Fun fact: The very first Olympic gold medalist in canoe sprint hailed from the Rideau Canoe Club!
Join us for five days of world-class competition featuring Canada’s top paddlers, including Olympic and Paralympic medalists, as they compete for national titles.

- Expected Participants: 1200+ athletes from 40 clubs
- Events: 500+ races across all age categories
