The Welland International Flatwater Centre was home for the 2013 Jr/U23 Worlds, 2015 Pan Am Games, 2017 National Championships, and the 2022 Canada Summer Games competitions. The facility is used to host a variety of water sport competitions including Dragon boat, rowing, open water swimming, canoe polo, water polo and triathlons.

The venue offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and modern amenities to create an unforgettable experience for all participants and spectators. With sprawling parkland and water bodies spanning over hundreds of acres, the setting is both beautiful and peaceful.

For convenience, onsite trailer parking is available, ensuring easy access for those traveling with equipment. Attendees and spectators will find ample parking space with 500 parking spaces, while grandstand seating caters to 500 individuals and offers prime views of the action and medal ceremonies. Additionally, an area on the east bank allows for more spectators to enjoy the event in a relaxed setting.

The venue also features a vibrant Vendor and Merchandise area, where visitors can explore a variety of offerings and souvenirs. For those seeking a touch of luxury, the Hospitality area on the VIP deck near the Tower promises a premium experience with top-notch service and amenities. Whether you are a participant, a fan, or simply looking to soak in the atmosphere, this venue has something special for everyone to enjoy.

Food vendors will be present on-site all week for your convenience. To support a cashless setting, we recommend pre-ordering food and parking. The Nationals committee is committed to decreasing event waste by installing water stations throughout the venue. Please bring your own refillable water bottles. Single use plastic bottles are discouraged from being brought into the facility
