The 2025 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships are coming to Regina, and we can’t wait to welcome you! Our Host Committee, along with the Wascana Racing Canoe Club, is excited to bring athletes, coaches, and fans together for an unforgettable week of racing on beautiful Wascana Lake.
Regina has a proud history of hosting top-tier paddling events. This will be the fifth time we’ve welcomed the National Championships, and we are excited to do it again. We’ve also hosted the 2005 Canada Games, the 2014 North American Indigenous Games and in 2026, we’ll proudly host the ICF World Dragon Boat Championships.
What makes Regina special? A world-class venue, incredible community support, and a welcoming prairie spirit. Wascana Lake is a prime racing venue right in the heart of the city, surrounded by parks, trails, and the stunning Saskatchewan Legislative Building.
