WELCOME TO LA MAURICE!
The 2022 CANOE KAYAK CANADA NATIONAL SPEED CHAMPIONSHIPS will take place on the competition course located in the Capitaine-Veilleux basin of the majestic St-Maurice River adjacent to Capitaine-Veilleux Avenue in Shawinigan.
Several major competitions since 2008 have taken place there: seven provincial championships, two Canada Cups, 2016 and 2017 (Canada/ Canamex) as well as the training camp for the men’s national kayak team preceding the TOYKO 2020 Olympic Games.
